Preserving Nature’s Song

Every Donation Counts

At The Otago Shore & Land Trust, our kaupapa/purpose is preserving nature’s song which we endeavour to fulfil through our mahi/work focused on conservation, rehabilitation, restoration, and education.

By engaging with us, participating in our mahi and activities, supporting our fundraising efforts, and sharing our story, you are directly supporting our efforts. Find out more about what we do and how you can be a part of preserving nature’s song for future generations.

Art in Action

Art in Action is where creativity becomes kaitiakitanga, guardianship. Bold ideas and beautiful art come together to tell a story, create connections, start conversations, and demand change for the precious taoka of Aotearoa.

The Hīkoi o te Taoka | March of the Treasures is a series of unique artistically designed larger-than-life statues located across the South Island. The kaupapa, purpose? To share their story and raise vital funds for the fight against extinction.

We invite communities and visitors alike to join the hīkoi, take the trail, and help us help them! Located across Dunedin, Oamaru, Wānaka, Arrowtown and Queenstown, check our locations map and go on an adventure of Art in Action. Walk the hīkoi. Stand for our taoka. Make a difference.
